Ingredients
1lb.pork sausage
10oz.cheese, grated
2cupsbaking mix
1/2tsp.garlic powder
Instructions
Combine all ingredients either by hand or with a stand mixer. Form into small to medium sized balls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes (small balls) to 20 minutes (medium-sized balls) or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Notes
These sausage balls can also be frozen baked or unbaked. If baked and then frozen, let thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Heat, covered, in the oven at 350° for approximately 5 minutes or until heated through.If frozen, thaw overnight and cook as the recipe directs. The sausage balls can also be cooked from frozen, adding about 5 minutes to the cooking time. Just be sure to test the internal temperature to ensure it has reached 165°.
